The Hindi word Aangan means courtyard, and at our cozy corner nestled in Durham Precinct in the heart of Ngāruawāhia, we invite you to immerse yourself in the ambiance of twinkling lights near the Hakarimata Scenic Reserve.  Aangan is a labour of love, run by me, Durga, my husband Nathi, and our cook Pamu, who pours his heart into every dish we serve. With a passion for authentic Indian flavours and a commitment to hospitality, we've created a space where guests feel like family from the moment they step through the door.
